Health365.sg welcomes onboard our Expert Advisory Board another top doctor – Dr Lee Chee Wan. Dr Lee is a cardiologist in Singapore at the Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital. He is also a visiting consultant to the Singapore National Heart Centre and Tan Tock Seng Hospital, an adjunct assistant professor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, and clinical teacher at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine.

Expertise as a Cardiologist in Singapore

Dr Lee has special interests are cardiac arrhythmias, coronary artery disease and hypertension. He is highly experienced in performing implantation of cardiac devices, catheter ablation, and coronary angiograms.

Dr Lee spent 18 months in Toronto General Hospital of Canada to advance his knowledge and skills in complex cardiac pacing and electrophysiology.

Accolades and Key Achievements in Cardiology

Dr Lee is a cardiologist in Singapore with both medical and doctorate degrees – an uncommon achievement. He studied medicine at the University of Sydney under the John Crawford Scholarship Scheme, graduating with first class honours in 1998. He then completed his postgraduate medical training at the University of Oxford and specialist cardiology training at the University of Cambridge.

Dr Lee was previously a senior consultant and head of the Department of Cardiology at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, Singapore. He was also the director of the hospital’s Cardiovascular Centre, the lead in pacing and cardiac electrophysiology, and the former director of their Coronary Care Unit.
