Medisave can be used for certain surgical dental procedures such as wisdom tooth surgery and dental implants, but not for non-surgical dental treatments such as extractions, crowning, dentures or braces. For dental surgery involving the insertion or removal of dental implants, Medisave can be used up to specific limits: $950 per implant for insertion and $450 per implant for removal. For example, inserting two dental implants allows you to claim up to $1,900 from Medisave.
