Health365.sg welcomes onboard our Expert Advisory Board another top doctor – Dr Lee Wai Peng. Dr Lee is a Senior Consultant and Breast Surgeon in Singapore, at the Solis Breast Care & Surgery Centre. Prior to joining Solis, she was a Senior Consultant and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Changi General Hospital. She is an appointed member of the Singapore Society of Oncology.

Dr Lee Wai Peng specialises in benign and malignant breast conditions.
Dr Lee completed observership in renowned centres in Japan and UK. This helped her to further her skills in breast cancer patient management, and to keep abreast of the latest developments in partial and full breast reconstruction surgical techniques.
Dr Lee engages in research on methodologies to help breast cancer patients improve their quality of life. Her ongoing research includes understanding the prevalence of breast cancer-related lymphedema after treatment and its associated quality-of-life impacts; evaluating the use of contrast-enhanced ultrasound as a predictive diagnostic tool in complex breast cysts; exploring the presence of ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) effect on the survival outcome of invasive breast cancer; and more. Her most recent research explores how metabolic syndrome may impact breast cancer patients and their prognosis.

Dr Lee received numerous service awards including the Eastern Health Alliance Service Award (2012), SingHealth 10 Year Long Service Award (2017), Singapore Health Quality Service Silver Award (2018), and the Singapore Health Quality Gold Award (2020).
